Step #2 in my Painting of a French Cafe

 Here I have sketched the drawing out of the cafe scene on my canvas board.  I'm using a 16" x 20" primed canvas board that I have applied a colored ground to in step #1.  I used Raw Umber and White mixed together for the colored ground.

In my next step, I will start blocking in the darkest darks of the painting.  Stay tuned for this next step in addition to some other small paintings here and there that I am working on as well.
